AR: Going Beyond the Screen

The importance of AR experiences and creating immersion in the Services Sector

October, 2025

Real and Virtual Worlds in Sync

In the modern world, being able to interact with a service is everything. The ability to see, interact, and learn in a comprehensive, intuitive way makes things much more dynamic and memorable, and it also makes abstract concepts feel much easier to understand.

The Role of AR in Creative Industries

Augmented reality makes it possible for us to go beyond the boundaries of reality. Being able to visualize precise, complex data in real time, many times from the comfort of our own devices, makes it possible to turn traditional experiences into immersive ones. Every step we go through in the process of developing our own AR projects is crucial to make sure the user feels as enveloped as possible without feeling overwhelmed.

Looking at Things with a Different View

In our studio, we developed an AR app specifically designed for an international veterinary event, where anyone could see and interact with specific data that you would normally only have access to through an MRI or a CT scan. The visitors were able to scan a life-sized model of a dog and obtain a 3D model on their phones, where they could see info on the parts that they were interested in, such as specific organs and muscles, making it a much more comprehensive way to know what’s happening to our pets.

The process is key

Mistakes, no matter how small, cannot be tolerated in developing AR models. Everything in the 3D model had to be perfect, down to the last-minute details. Printing the exact replica and basing our entire program on it while following all the rules of 3D modeling made it so that there could be no more room for error to guarantee precise, accurate readings. The result of this precision was a successful exhibition that made the best use of AR.

I do think that a significant portion of the population of developed countries, and eventually all countries, will have AR experiences every day, almost like eating three meals a day. It will become that much a part of you. —Tim Cook

Conclusion:

AR has been around for quite some time now, and pretty much everyone has a pretty clear idea of what it is and what it does. Making experiences more and more immersive not only brings out new possibilities for creative approaches that make things different for everyone but also helps simplify abstract concepts and data. It’s about explaining things by showing them, instead of just explaining using traditional means.
