TEDx is a globally recognized platform dedicated to sharing ideas that shape the future. In Portugal, one of its most inspiring editions took place in Chiado - a historic cultural district in Lisbon. TEDxChiado has become a meeting point for minds that seek to redesign the future of humanity through creative ideas and transformative solutions.

Interactive data-driven artinstallation

FRQNCY is a product created by Bootic as part of an ongoing effort to explore and promote data-driven art experiences. It reflects the studio’s interest in developing experimental projects that build new, meaningful connections between humans and technology.

For TEDxChiado, the interactive installation, “great minds λlike”, was brought into the context of the event and interpreted through its themes - Humanity 5.0 - proposing a possible reading of how different states of mind may relate to different forms of thought and leadership.

With the experience “great minds λlike”, each participant became the author of a data-driven digital art piece. A neural sensor captured brain activity in real time, translating it into a unique visual composition - an artistic interpretation shaped by a machine and guided by the participant’s own data. Powered by our product FRQNCY, the installation represents an experimental symbiosis between technology and consciousness.

This activation transformed a technological installation into a meaningful human experience, inviting participants to reflect on the relationship between consciousness, data and creativity. By turning individual presence into a unique digital expression, the project explored new possibilities for how humans and intelligent systems can interact - offering a glimpse into what more thoughtful and experiential forms of technology might become.
